All our rooms are individually designed with all providing en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions, wireless internet connections and high quality fixtures and fittings. Our Cluaran room provides DDA compliant fixtures and fittings. The Kyloe room contains a balcony on which guest can sit and enjoy a cup of tea with uninterrupted views of the Palace. The Monarch Room has a designated outdoor patio area with a table and chairs with access to the garden via steps.
Standard Check-in times are between 4.00pm and 7:00pm. Check-out is 11:00am.
Please note that because weekend breaks in Linlithgow are very popular, we resist taking a booking for just a single Saturday night due to most visitors looking for a 2 to 3 day stay.
We welcome those who are working in the local area and wish a home from home environment in luxury surroundings during the long working week. Longer term stays can be provided at a reduced rate with discounted laundry.
Elegant and bijou, each of our bedrooms are individually designed and decorated, taking inspiration from Scotland’s landscape, its flora and fauna. Please see our more detailed information and tarifs for each of the rooms…

The location of The Queen’s View was once the hunting grounds for Linlithgow Palace where deer would have been part of the staple diet of the wealthy. The perception of the noble stag, who, for many, is the embodiment of Scotland, epitomised in ‘The Monarch of the Glen’, a world famous painting by Sir Edwin Landseer, 1885, inspired the colour scheme for our front room. The rich purple carpet and feature wall with the complimentary soft greens create a luxurious and decadent environment.

Kyloe also known as the ‘Wee Shaggie Beasties’, Heilin Coo’s and Heiffers, are some of the Scottish names for Highland Cows. The cattle with their shaggy coats and curly horns are synonymous with Scotland, and once used to live in the field as family pets. We hope to reinstate them in the near future so guests can get up close and personal if they wish.
This room with its dark brown carpet, feature wall and refreshing cream furnishings provide a warm and cosy environment with some quirky elements to make you smile. The Kyloe room also contains a balcony on which guest can sit and enjoy a cup of tea with uninterrupted views of the Palace.

The prickly purple thistle has been Scotland‘s national emblem for centuries. Legend has it that a sleeping party of Scots warriors were saved from ambush by an invading Norse army, when one of the enemies stood on the plant, and in anguish cried out, waking the slumbering warriors who duly vanquished the invader and adopted the thistle as their national symbol.
